AV研究所

Lexie Crist (she/her) is a Business Analytics and International studies double major from Tacoma, Washington. She hopes to combine her interests in market analytics, global business strategy, and history to prepare herself for a career in global business and policy.

Outside of the classroom, Lexie spends a lot of time on the dance floor, preparing for performances for her on campus dance team, Synergy Hip Hop Company. She also can be found often getting coffee with friends at the chocolate bar, at a Residence Hall Association event, or on the way to try a new Boston restaurant to post on her Beli account. Participating in ELP was a highlight of her freshman year and she is stoked to get to know this year's freshman cohort and deepen her connection to this amazing community.

Leah Cuyler (she/her) is from Avon, Connecticut. She is majoring in Applied Psychology and Human Development with the intent to get her masters in social work! Some of her favorite parts of freshman year were being a lit buddy at the Campus School and serving on their advocacy committee along with being in RHA, going on APPA, and of course being in ELP! In her free time she loves to go for walks with friends, find the best study spots on campus, and enjoy all the perks of being near Boston! When not on the Heights, Leah loves being a camp counselor at her town camp and getting ice cream with her dog Coey! Her favorite part of AV研究所 is getting to be a part of such an amazing community where she has met the best people! She cannot wait to meet the next incredible group of ELPers and support them through their first year!

Danny Flanagan (he/him) is from Southbury, Connecticut. He's majoring in Communications and Political Science on a Pre-Law track in the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences. On campus, he spends time playing Spikeball with his friends on the Maloney lawn, studying in the Chocolate Bar, and working with the Student Admissions Program and Resident Hall Association. He loves getting to know new people and getting involved at AV研究所, and he can't wait to meet and help guide next year's Emerging Leaders!

Catherine Hulugalle (she/her), who also goes by Cat, is from Waimea, Hawai鈥榠 and is majoring in Marketing in the Carroll School of Management. She is planning to double minor in English and Real Estate.In her free time, Cat loves playing tennis, hanging out with friends, reading a good book, and going on random adventures around Boston. She also loves to travel and tries to make the most out of every opportunity to explore a new place. Cat is super excited to meet, connect with, and support the next cohort of Emerging Leaders this year!

Sofia Lulo (she/her) is from Santiago, Dominican Republic. She is majoring in Finance and Management & Leadership in the Carroll School of Management and is currently pursuing a minor in Applied Psychology & Human Development, where she hopes to explore the beautiful intersection of organizational structures and human behavior. When she isn鈥檛 in the classroom, Sofia is likely grabbing an iced coffee at the Chocolate Bar, getting dinner at Lower, or staying active in a Pilates or yoga class. An avid reader and piano player, she finds joy in both quiet creative moments and exploring the Boston restaurant scene with friends. Sofia is heavy on service and is incredibly excited to welcome the next ELP cohort, helping them find their own balance and community at AV研究所.

Giacomo Pili (he/him) is from Buffalo, NY. He is majoring in Neuroscience in the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences and is on the pre-med track, with hopes of pursuing a career in medicine. On campus, you can usually find him playing pickup soccer in Alumni Stadium, studying in the Social Work Library, or spending time with friends around campus. He is passionate about building genuine connections with others and values meaningful conversations. Giacomo is excited to get to know and support the incoming Emerging Leaders this year!

Charlie Shifrin (he/him) is a native of Southborough, Massachusetts majoring in Economics in the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences on the pre-law track.When he isn鈥檛 studying in the ELP Office, Charlie is likely outdoors with peers or raising awareness for ALS. Whether playing sports or walking with friends, he loves taking advantage of the campus weather throughout the fall and spring. Beyond ELP, Charlie is a staple of the Campus Activity Board (CAB), where he helps execute amusing trips and excursions and will serve as an Assistant Director in the spring. Charlie appreciates the many opportunities AV研究所 offers to build community and is beyond excited to mentor, challenge, and grow alongside the next cohort of Emerging Leaders.

Emmett Tolisano (he/him) is from Fairfield, Connecticut. He is majoring in Finance in the Carroll School of Management, pursuing a future career in the financial services industry. When he is not discovering a new study spot around campus, Emmett can be found touring an Eagle for a Day, planning an RHA event, or at the plex getting a workout in. He loves watching sports with his friends, often hosting gatherings to watch AV研究所 or New York sports! Most of all, he is so excited to meet and grow with the next group of Emerging Leaders this academic year.

Steph Venturini (she/her) is from Milan, Italy, but spent her early teenage years studying in New York City. She is double majoring in Elementary Education in the Lynch School of Education and Human Development and International Studies in the Morrissey School of Arts and Sciences. She hopes to combine her interests for teaching and global politics to help teach in underprivileged communities around the world. When not playing guitar in her dorm with friends, she enjoys running around the reservoir, going on hiking trips planned through AV研究所's Outdoor Adventure club, or exploring new restaurants in the city. Steph is so excited to get to know the new group ELP members and cannot wait for an amazing year!

Luke Wagner (he/him)听 is from Farmington, Connecticut. He is majoring in Economics and Political Science in the Morrissey College of Arts & Sciences with a minor in Finance in the Carroll School of Management. He hopes to either pursue a career in Finance or attend law school, but is honestly still figuring it out. When he is not grinding in Bapst Library, you can find Luke hooping in the Rec center, going on runs around campus and into the city, or hanging out with friends in someone's room. He loves running into people he knows in the dining halls or on the quads in between classes, and will always stop to chat. Luke is pumped to meet and build relationships with the next generation of ELPers!

Lauren Weideman (she/her) is from Sacramento, California. She is majoring in English in the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences and is also on the Pre-Med track. She hopes to integrate her passions for writing and the humanities into a career in healthcare and medicine.

Outside of ELP, Lauren spends her time volunteering with 4Boston as a tutor for high school students, exploring the city with her friends, and working with the Student Admissions Program, and she is excited to serve as a UGAV研究所 Senator this year. She loves all things AV研究所, and you can find her at any sports game or community event! Lauren is thrilled to welcome new ELPers into the vibrant and connected AV研究所 community.

Ryan (he/him) is from Whitestone, New York. He is majoring in Political Science and Economics at the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences and is currently on the pre-law track, where he hopes to combine his passion for policy and economic theory with a future career in law. On campus, when he is not hitting the books, he can often be found on the pitch with AV研究所鈥檚 Club Rugby team, on deck as a lifeguard at the Rec, or giving back through the Best Buddies program. Ryan loves the way AV研究所 creates space to compete, serve, and connect all at once. He is thrilled to support, mentor, and get to know the next cohort of Emerging Leaders this year.
