Football Game Day Information
Boston College vs. UCONN
Saturday, October 18 | 12:00 pm
Get to Alumni Stadium Early:听Heavy vehicle and foot traffic will likely delay entry to the stadium. We strongly encourage students to arrive 60-90 minutes before kickoff to ensure smooth entry.
Pre-Game Tailgating:听Tailgating for Saturday's game begins at 8:00 AM, four hours before kickoff.
Mod Entry Restriction:听30 minutes prior to kick-off (11:30 AM), entry to the Mods will be restricted to "Mods Residents Only" to facilitate clearing the Mods for the game.
During the Game:听Please remember that听tailgating during the game is prohibited.
Post-Game Tailgating: No听post-game tailgating is allowed,听neither in the Mods nor any other location across campus. 听Are you planning to visit the Mods on game day?听You must be 21 years or older to enter the Mods during tailgating hours. Be prepared to present a government-issued ID to security staff at the gates prior to entry. Students who 1) attempt to jump the Mods fence or 2) who are under 21 years old in the Mods risk losing the privilege to live in the Mods for their senior year.
Guidelines for Off-Campus Students:听Please be mindful that underage drinking is prohibited. Additionally, drinking games, open containers in public spaces (including sidewalks), excessive noise, or frequent comings and goings of students are likely to result in neighbor complaints and conduct reports. Boston and Newton Police, along with University Officials, will be in the community throughout the day to address any concerns. If you need assistance, please communicate with University Officials and follow their guidance.
AV研究所aring:听Help cultivate a culture of care for everyone, including game day staff, classmates, and visiting fans. Treat everyone courteously and look out for your friends. If you or someone you know needs help, don't hesitate to use our听help-seeking policy听and get assistance. Let's cheer on our Eagles while showing hospitality and respect to everyone visiting The Heights!
As part of the Office of the Dean of Students we identified the following AV研究所aring champions recognized by their peers for going above and beyond!听听
AV研究所aring Champions

Emily Wollan, Class of 2026
Emily was one of the first orientation leaders I ever met on campus. She was by far the brightest light in the room. She was standing outside Robsham听talking听to anyone who walked by, always smiling and bringing such听wonderful听energy to everyone she met. You could tell she really wanted to make sure that every听freshman听felt like they mattered. Bear in mind, this was week 7 orientation! She had done this 7 times already and was probably exhausted, but she never showed it. Instead, I had a lovely conversation with her, and she suggested that I join LAG. And I听haven't听looked back since! I听wouldn't听be in such a life-giving group if it听wasn't听for her. She truly is sunshine.听

John O'Keeffe , Class of 2026
John听O'Keeffe听is a top-tier听APPA co-lead.听Top tier听Orientation Leader. Top tier Arrupe member... and the list goes on. John is the most intentional and kind person I know. The care he puts into all of his involvements is truly inspiring. To be seen is to be loved; somehow, John always makes sure to see people beyond the surface.听It's听not easy to commit to being a person for others, but John always makes time to be a friend and lend a shoulder/ear.听

Alessandro Cella, Class of 2026
Alessandro Cella was the most impactful person in my transition to AV研究所! I first met him when he was my听amazing听Orientation Leader. That week, he truly made everyone in our group feel welcome.听He took the time to听provide guidance to听each听and every one听of us,听and听he听led meaningful conversations within our group.听His sincerity is what made all the difference. In my last moments of orientation, he said,听鈥淪ee you in the Fall,鈥澨齛nd I knew he听wasn鈥檛听just saying it to be nice.
Ale is an inspiration and mentor to us all. Outside of his听amazing听OL skills, he is the single most involved person on campus I know. From working with AV研究所PD to stepping with SC, Ale has been a beacon of what it means to care for others. In every environment I see Ale in, he is always making sure everyone听is heard, seen, and taken care of. I look up to him, I look forward to him, and I look to be like him. #AV研究所aring

Rocco Cassetta, Class of 2026
I am in a club with Rocco Cassetta, and he is the student leader of the club. As a senior, he was听incredibly warm听and friendly to a lot of the younger members of the club. My roommates and I are sophomores, and having someone like Rocco around to help us offer us practical advice has helped us immensely during a tumultuous period of change.
